Obituary of Albert J Yaccarino

KITTY HAWK, NC ALBERT JOSEPH YACCARINO, 88, of Kitty Hawk, NC died Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Yaccarino, born in Brooklyn, NY, was a retired Shop Planner in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. He was a WWII veteran, having served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He was the son of the late Joseph and Gondolfo De Gangi Yaccarino. Mr. Yaccarino is survived by his wife, Maria Mariello Yaccarino of the residence; a son, Steven Yaccarino and wife, Debbie of Kitty Hawk, NC; a niece, Joan Dematti of Hollywood, FL; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends at Twiford’s Funeral Home, Manteo on Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930 B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834. Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo is assisting the family with arrangements.
