Obituary of Eloise Monette

Wilson, NC Eloise Hooper Monette, 82, of Wilson, NC, died, Friday, October 22, 2004. She was born in Stumpy Point, NC and was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Melvin and Maude Wise Hooper and the wife of the late Willie Winfield Monette. Mrs. Monette is survived by a daughter, Vicki Monette Osborn of Wilson, NC; a son, W.W. Monette, Jr of Virginia Beach, VA; two brothers, Milton V. Hooper of Stumpy Point, NC and Tom Hooper of Southern Shores, NC; six grandchildren and several great granchilden. She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Ray Monette. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, October 24, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Shiloh United Methodist Church by the Rev. Ken Davenport and the Rev. Sue Harris. Burial will be in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo, NC is in charge of arrangements.
