Obituary of Robert Cason

Robert Benton Cason Knotts Island ‘ Robert B. Cason, 73, died Saturday, October 30, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Cason was born in VA Beach, to the late Wilbur W. and Aleen Grimstead Cason. Mr. Cason retired from the VA Beach City Garage, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was predeceased by one brother, Kenneth Cason and two sisters, Elmyra O’Neal and Joyce Daughtry. Mr. Cason is survived by two brothers, Edward ‘Swamp’ Cason of Knotts Island and Wilbur ‘Bug’ Walter Cason Jr. and wife, Jeanette of Knotts Island; nine nieces and six nephews. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Knotts Island Community Cemetery with Rev. Bill Thorn officiating. Twiford’s Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake is in charge of the arrangements.
