Obituary of Prudence Caroon

CAROON KITTY HAWK, NC PRUDENCE POOLE CAROON, 81, of Kitty Hawk, died, Monday, November 1, 2004, in her residence. Mrs. Caroon was born in Wales, in the United Kingdom and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Jane Evans Poole and the wife of Alston E. Caroon of the home. Surviving are five daughters, Susan Micallef of Kitty Hawk, Christine Layman of Roanoke, Va, Sandra Sipes of Arkansas, Patricia Loughry of Powells Point, and Karen Mathews of Aydlett; five sons, Michael McMurray and Gary McMurray both of Poquoson, Va; Roger McMurray of Newport News, Va; Steven McMurray of Grandy and Scott McMurray of Aydlett; 27 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be in Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Wednesday, November 3, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. by the Rev. David Sawyer. Memorials may be made to Dare County Hospice, P.O.
