Obituary of Anna Jones

Elizabeth City, NC Anna Spangler Jones, age 82, of 1367 Newland Road, Elizabeth City, NC, died Tuesday, November 2, 2004, at her residence. She was a native of Roanoke, VA, and was the daughter of the late William J. Spangler and Bertha Staples Spangler, and was the wife of the late, Johnnie Buzbee ‘JB’ Jones. She was a member of Ramoth Gilead Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Madre and her husband Lenon, of Elizabeth City, NC, Sylvia Whitehead and her husband Walton of Hertford, NC, Donna Madeline Williams and her husband Rodney of Elizabeth City, NC; one son, John M. Jones and his wife Betty of Elizabeth City, NC; one sister, Madeline Turner of Roanoke, VA; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A graveside service will be Thursday, November 4, 2004, at 11:00 AM in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Greenway and Rev. Toni Wood officiating. The family will be at the residence, 1367 Newland Road, Elizabeth City, NC.
