Obituary of Clifford Charles Farrow

AVON, NC CHARLES CLIFFORD FARROW, 57, of Avon, NC died Wednesday, November 10, 2004 in an Avon, NC medical facility. Mr. Farrow, born in Manteo, NC, was a Commercial Fisherman and formerly worked for the NC Dept. of Transportation, Ferry Division, and was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. He was the son of the late Ervin M. Farrow, Sr. and the late Mabel Osborne Farrow Meekins. Mr. Farrow is survived by a sister, Mary Jane Scarborough and two brothers, Ervin M. Farrow, Jr. and Leroy T. Farrow, all of Avon, NC, and ten nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at St. Johns United Methodist Church, Avon, NC on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Herbert Hemingway and Collins Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery in Avon. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 pm and at other times at the home of Leroy Farrow, 40106 Harbor Road, Avon, NC. Twiford’s Island Chapel, Hatteras is assisting the family with arrangements.
