Obituary of Annie Trueblood

Geneva Modlin Trueblood Native of Pasquotank County, NC Mrs. Annie Geneva Modlin Trueblood, age 89, formerly of West Main Street Extended, Elizabeth City, NC, died Sunday, November 14, 2004, in Guardian Care Nursing Home. Mrs. Trueblood, a native of Pasquotank County, was the widow of Clarence Trueblood and the daughter of the late William Henry Modlin and Mary Virginia Cartwright Modlin. She was a homemaker and a member of Berea Baptist Church. Mrs. Trueblood is survived by one son, Marvin K. Trueblood and wife Jean of Henrico, NC; and six grandchildren, Lisa T. Mathews of Elizabeth City, NC, Karen T. Zimmerman of Indialantis, FL, Teresa T. Walker of Hayes, VA, Cheryl T. Danowski of Potomac, MD, Michael W. Trueblood of Barco, NC, and William C. ‘Buddy’ Trueblood. She was predeceased by a son, William H. Trueblood. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 18, 2004, at 11:00 AM at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Roger Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
