Obituary of Helen Berry

HELEN MARKHAM BERRY Pasquotank County native Helen Markham Berry, 76, of 1487 Salem Church Road, Elizabeth City died as a result of an automobile accident Saturday, November 13, 2004 in the Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville, NC. Mrs. Berry was born in Pasquotank County to the late Benjamin and Sidney Munden Markham and was the widow of the late Allen Kendrick Berry, Sr. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post 6060 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Berry is survived by five daughters, Patricia Gregory and husband, Curtis, of Wilmington, NC, Jenny McDaniels and husband, Bob, of Camden, NC, Donna Houtz of Elizabeth City, NC, Debbie McDougal and husband, Andy, of Oak Ridge, NC and Cindy Reid and husband, David, of Kill Devil Hills, NC; one son, Allen Berry Jr. of Elizabeth City, NC. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Chris McDaniels and wife, Stacy, Natalie Gregory Guy and husband, David, Jacqueline McDaniels Martin and husband, J. J., John Gregory, Marie Houtz, Brent McDougal, Ryan McDougal, Megan Berry, and Zachary Berry; four great grandchildren, Christopher McDaniels, Coby McDaniels, Jack Martin and Julia Martin. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, November 17, 2004, at 11:00am in the West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Rev. Jeffrey Russell.
