Obituary of E. Kay Lee

EDLENE KAY LEE, 67, of Kill Devil Hills, NC died Tuesday, November 16, 2004. Mrs. Lee, born in Hobbs, NM, was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist church. She was the daughter of the late Edward Cathey and Helen Cathey Neithercutt. Edlene was the widow of the late Clarence Wayne Lee, Col USAF Ret. She was also preceded in death by a son, Darryl Wayne Lee. Mrs. Lee is survived by two daughters, Cathey Lee Lancaster of Gainsville, VA/Thomas F. Lancaster of Waynesboro, PA. and Valarie Lynn Schad and husband, Thad W. Schad of Mesa, AZ; two granddaughters, Rebecca Lynn and Shari Lee Lancaster. Funeral services will be held at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Richard Stone officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA on Thursday, December 9, 2004 at 2:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc., POB 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216, or the National Kidney Foundation of NC, POB 2383, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
