Obituary of Earl Sawyer

Earl A. Sawyer Elizabeth City, NC Earl A. Sawyer, age, 76, of 661 Firetower Road, Elizabeth City, NC, died Wednesday, November 17, 2004 in Albemarle Hospital. He was a native of Camden County, NC, and was the son of the late John Linwood Sawyer and Mary Williams Sawyer, and was the husband of the late Doris Ballance Sawyer. He was a retired Logger. Mr. Sawyer is survived by one daughter, Judy S. Hewitt and her husband, Robert Earl of Elizabeth City, NC; one sister Margie ‘Peggy’ Riddick of South Mills, NC; and two grandchildren, Donna Hewitt and Robbie Hewitt of Elizabeth City, NC, and one great grandson, Andy McCoy of Elizabeth City, NC. A graveside service will be Friday, November 19, 2004, at 3:00 PM in the Koen Cemetery, Firetower Road, Elizabeth City, NC, with the Rev. Glenn Greenway and Rev. M.R. White officiating.
