Obituary of David Thomas Pugh

David Thomas Pugh, 45 of South Mills, NC, died suddenly on November 18, 2004. Born in Abington, David was raised in Newtown and was a long resident of South Mills, NC, and a former resident of TX. David is a graduate of Council Rock High School, class of 1976 and an avid NASCAR fan and Civil War buff. David was an active farmer in South Mills, raising many farm animals and taking care of his cats. David’s number one love was his family and his children. He always put his family first. David is the beloved son of Roy and Patricia Lefferts Pugh of Newtown and the loving father of Jenna and Justin Pugh. He is also survived by his loving companion, Barbara Walsh of South Mills, NC, and the stepfather of Adrienne. David is the devoted brother of Barbara Goll and her husband Ted, and Andy Pugh of his wife Marianne, Trisha Pugh, Jonathan Pugh and his wife Dawn and Mark Pugh and his wife Kim. He is also survived by 10 nieces and 2 nephews. David is the step grandfather of Breece and Isabella. Relatives and friends are invited to David’s Life Celebration on Monday, November 22, 2004, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Swarts/Givnish Funeral Home, Washington & Lincoln Ave., Newtown, PA, 215-968-3891, and to his Mass of Christian Burial at the Olde Church of St. Andrew, Sycamore Street, Newtown, PA, on Tuesday, November 23, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
