Obituary of Winford McDowell

Winford Lee McDowell Chesapeake ‘ Winford Lee McDowell (Mac), 67, USN (Retired), Norfolk Naval Ship Yard Shop 67 Foreman (Retired), entered peacefully into rest November 19th. Loving husband of Michaelene B., beloved father of Christine Lee Armstrong caring Grandpa of Jeremie Koons, twins James Todd and Cassandra Ann. Brother-in-law of Dolores and David Van Schoor, uncle to Teal Justine, great uncle of Victoria Lee, closest cousins Betty and Bueron Skinner of Alabama, host of aunts and uncles and cousins of Cullman, Alabama. Mr. McDowell was a native of Cullman, Alabama and was the son of the late Emmett and Emma Brown McDowell. ‘Mac’ enjoyed going fishing at Northwest River Park. He was an avid NASCAR enthusiast. ‘Mac’ was a country music fan and loved especially to listen to Hank Williams. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 7:00 pm.
