Obituary of Nannie Tucker

MANTEO, NC NANNIE PEARL TUCKER, 99, or Manteo, NC died Thursday, December 2, 2004 at her residence. Mrs. Tucker, born in Grifton, NC, was a retired Public School Teacher and was a member of First Christian Church of Grifton. She was the daughter of the late Jesse P. and Nannie Elizabeth Latham Quinerly and the widow of the late Jack Tucker. Mrs. Tucker is survived by a daughter, Argent Moore Tucker Spake of Manteo, NC; a son, J. Lawrence Tucker of Minnesotte Beach, NC; two grandchildren, Jacquin S. Hart and husband, Todd, Brenda S. Brent and husband, Michael; four grandchildren, Kiersten Hart, Julia Brent, Ana Brent and Claire Brent. Funeral services will be held at First Christian Church, Grifton, NC on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Grifton Cemetery. Viewing will begin at the church at 1:00 pm prior to the service. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
