Obituary of Barbara Hooper

HOOPER KITTY HAWK, NC BARBARA LOVELACE HOOPER, 62, of Kitty Hawk, died, Friday, December 3, 2004, in her residence. Mrs Hooper was born in Forsyth County, N.C. and was a Ranger with the National Park Service. She was the daughter of the late George William Lovelace and the late Maggie Strader Horner and the wife of Timothy Franklin Hooper of the home. Besides her husband surviving are three sons: David Hall and wife Karen of Mount Airy, N.C.; Jeff Hall and wife Lisa of Rockingham, N.C. and Alan Charles Bauman of Kitty Hawk; two sisters: Sherry Brown and husband Joe of Kernersville,N.C. and Sadonna Cooper and husband Wayne of Julian, N.C.; four brothers; Jerry Wayne Lovelace and Clyde Lee Lovelace both of Summerfield, N.C.; Johnny Horner of Elon College, N.C and Frankie Horner of Greensboro, N.C.; three grandchildren: Jennifer Lynn Hall of Winston-Salem, N.C.; Hannah Meagan Hall and Devon Wagner both of Mount Airy, N.C. Mrs. Hooper was pre-deceased by a brother Tommy Horner. A service of remembrance will be held Saturday, December 11, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. in Twiford’s Colony Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Dare County Home Health and Hospice, P.O. Box 1000, Manteo, N.C. 27954. Twiford’s Colony Chapel Manteo is assisting the Hooper Family.
