Obituary of Pansy Beale

Pansy Brown Beale, 84, passed away Dec. 4, 2004. Mrs. Beale was a native of Norfolk and a daughter of the late Joe and Clara Brothers Brown. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert R. Beale Sr. Mrs. Beale was a member of Mount Pleasant Seventh-day Advent. She was an avid fisherman and loved doing her yard work. Mrs. Beale is survived by her son, Bobby Beale of Chesapeake; her daughters, Gloria Jean Hewitt of Chesapeake and Joann Owens of Virginia Beach; five sisters, Betsy Clark of Georgia, Shirley Tynan of Philadelphia, Pa., Evelyn Massey of Hampton, Annie Wilkins of Virginia Beach and Joan Moore of Chesapeake; two brothers, Marshall Brown of Chesapeake and Billy Brown of Norfolk; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Twiford Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Hampton Roads Chapter No. 20, The Kroger Center, Suite 233, Norfolk, VA 23502.
