Obituary of Edna Ferrell

EDNA STAFFORD FERRELL Native of Pasquotank County, NC Edna Stafford Ferrell, 79, of 1808 N. Road Street, Elizabeth City died Wednesday, December 15, 2004, in the Albemarle Hospital following a short illness. She was born in Pasquotank County, NC to the late Joe and Willie Poland Stafford and was the wife of Major Irvin ‘M.I.’ Ferrell, Sr. Mrs. Ferrell was a member of the Berea Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, M. I. Ferrell, Jr. and wife Delores, and J. C. Ferrell and wife, Marion, all of Elizabeth City, NC; a brother Percy Stafford of Delaware; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, December 17, 2004 at 1:00pm in the West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Rev. Glenn Greenway.
