Rita Monsees Brous, of Colington Harbour, Kill Devil Hills, NC, died December 19, 2004 at Britthaven of Outer Banks. Mrs. Brous was born in New York City, NY to the late Arthur J. and Alwina Baudendistel Monsees and was the widow of Mortimer King Brous. For years, she performed as a professional singer in New York.
A funeral mass will be conducted on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Twiford’s Colony Chapel by Father William Walsh. Entombment will follow at Roanoke Island Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
