Obituary of Beulah Hobbs

Beulah Nash Hobbs, 85 of Elizabeth City, NC and formerly of 794 Highway #158, Elizabeth City died Wednesday morning in the Albemarle Hospital. She was born in Camden County to the late Sam and Lula Russell Nash and was the wife of Elliott Hobbs. Mrs. Hobbs was a member of the Ramoth Gilead Baptist Church and was a retired employee for W.T. Grant Company. Besides her husband, Mrs. Hobbs is survived by a daughter, Adelle Boothe of Rocky Mount, NC, a sister, Bessie Hammer of Oregon, three grandchildren, Valerie Boothe of Rocky Mt., NC, Gail Rogers of Asheboro, NC and Van Boothe of Smithfield, NC; one great grandchild, Rebekah Rogers of Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 27, 2003 at 1:00pm in Twiford Memorial Chapel by Rev. Glen Greenway. Burial will be in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives in the lobby of the funeral home immediately following the chapel service.
