Obituary of Sharon Garner

Sharon Tillett Garner Chesapeake ‘ Sharon Tillett Garner, 47, died December 22, 2003 at Chesapeake General Hospital. Mrs. Garner was born in Elizabeth City, NC to Polly and Jack G. ‘Rosser’ Tillett of Chesapeake. She worked for Hiller Systems, and loved being with her family. Mrs. Garner was predeceased by her brother, David Wayne Tillett. Besides her parents, she is survived by her children, Sarah and Clayton Garner of Chesapeake; three sisters, Vonda T. Michael and husband Vernon, Paula T. Magruder and husband Larry, Eva Tillett and husband Bruce Pierce all of Chesapeake; one brother, Jack Tillett Jr. of Murfreesboro, NC ; and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the Tillett Family Cemetery, Wanchese, NC with Rev. Charles Etheridge officiating. The family will receive friends at the Twiford’s Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake on Friday from 7:00 until 8:30 pm. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.twifordfh.com.
