Obituary of Gertrude Baxter

Kill Devil Hills, NC Gertrude S. Baxter, 91, of Kill Devil Hills, NC, died, Saturday, January 1, 2005 in Nags Head. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret O’Connell DeCelle. Survivors include four sons, Edward Hillman and wife Jane of Fredericksburg, VA, Michael Hillman and wife Jeanette of Madison, TN, Johnny Baxter and wife Betsy of Jacksonville Beach, FL, and Tommy Baxter and wife Joan of Kill Devil Hills, NC; a nephew, Fredrick Albert and wife Mary Lou of Arlington, VA; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 11:00am at Columbia Gardens in Arlington, VA. Twiford’s Colony Chapel Manteo is assisting the Baxter family.
