Obituary of Carl Harry

EC HARRY Carl Ray Harry Resident of Pasquotank County, NC Carl Ray Harry, age 50, of 129 Olivet Circle, Elizabeth City, NC, died Tuesday, Januray 4, 2005, at Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Portsmouth, VA; husband of Debbie Nooney Harry of the residence, and the son of William L. Thompson, Jr. of Elizabeth City, NC, and the late Edna Davis Thompson. He worked as a mechanic for Albemarle Lanes Bowling Center and was a member of the American Bowling Congress. Beside his wife and father, Mr. Harry is survived by a daughter, Erin Copeland and husband Chris of Elizabeth City, NC; a son Jason Meads and wife Cheri of Fredericksburg, VA; two sisters, Susan Bentley and her husband Joe, of Elizabeth City, NC, and Renee Harry of New York City, NY; a brother, William L. Thompson, III, and his wife Amy; a grandmothers, Hazel Davis; three grandchildren, Jeremy Meads, Justin Meads, and Andrew Copeland. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2005, at 11:00 AM in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Joey Hobbs officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the lobby of the funeral home and at other times at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Nooney, 305 Jessup Street, Elizabeth City, NC.
