Obituary of Lartie Mae Ambrose

EAST LAKE, NC LARTIE MAE AMBROSE, 64, of East Lake, NC died Friday, January 7, 2005 at the Outer Banks Hospital, Nags Head, NC. Ms. Ambrose was born in Buffalo City, NC and was disabled. She was the daughter of the late Teco and Polly Ann Sawyer Ambrose. Ms. Ambrose is survived by a sister, Pat Ambrose Jeffords of East Lake, NC; a brother, Coy Ambrose of Manns Harbor, NC; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo on Sunday, January 9, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Anthony Ralph officiating. Burial will be in the East Lake United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Twiford’s Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 pm and at other times at the home of Coy & Jeannette Ambrose, 7736 Shipyard Rd., Manns Harbor.
