Obituary of Janet Lester

Janet Marie Lester Elizabeth City, NC ‘ Janet Marie Sanders Lester, 67, died January 11, 2005. Mrs. Lester was born in Evansville, IN to the late, Howard and Dorothy Hape Sanders. She retired as the manager of Key Bank of Maine, enjoyed craft work, sewing, stamp collecting and music. Mrs. Lester was predeceased by one brother, Larry Sanders. She, leaves behind her husband of 43 years, Albert Lester; one daughter, Lynn Fraga and husband Matt of Hebron, Ct; one son Glen Lester and wife Korin of Chesapeake; one brother, Donald ‘Bud’ Anderson and wife Mildred of Evansville, IN; and two grandchildren, Savanna and Austin Lester. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 12:00 pm at Moyock Cemetery, Moyock, NC with Rev. Tom Mercer officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to your local Humane Society in her name. Twiford’s Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake is in charge of arrangements.
