Obituary of Frederick Pfirrmann

Ocracoke, NC Frederick Albert Pfirrmann, 74, died Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Pfirrmann was born in Saarbrucken, Germany and was an attorney at law in New York City, NY, having worked for Donovan & Leisure Law Firm, Stauffer Chemical Company of Scarsdale, NY and Mobil Oil Corporation. He also served in the New Jersey National Guard and the U.S. Army. He was the son of the late Friedrich Wilhelm Pfirrmann and the late Emilie Wilhelmine Albrecht Pfirrmann and the husband of Margaret Elizabeth Taylor Pfirrmann of the home. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Frederick William Pfirrmann of Honolulu, Hawaii, James Andrew Pfirrmann of Union, Maine, and Eric Michael Pfirrmann of Newport, Rhode Island; and five grandchildren. No services are planned at this time. Twiford’s Island Chapel, Hatteras, is assisting the family.
