Obituary of Harold Wise

Chincoteague, VA Leslie Harold Wise, 83, died Sunday, January 16, 2005 in Berlin, MD. Mr. Wise was born in Stumpy Point and was a Waterman and a miniature boat builder. He was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 159. Mr. Wise was a veteran having served in the U.S.C.G. during WWII. He was the son of the late Leslie Hobson Wise and the late Mary Mann Wise and was the widower of Irene Best Wise. He is survived by one daughter, Pam Wise Creef of Manns Harbor and one son, Harold Lee Wise of Manteo; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Shiloh United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at 2:00 PM with Bobby Midgett officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
