Obituary of Peggy Robinson

PEGGY BIRCH ROBINSON Native of Stamford, Conn. Peggy Birch Robinson, 82, of 1830 Rivershore Road, Elizabeth City, NC died Sunday, January 23, 2005, in the Albemarle Hospital. She was born in New York City and grew up in Stamford, Conn. Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late C. Ward Birch and Margaret Wardwell Birch. After attending Low Heywood School in Stamford and Vassar College, she married Charles Hall Robinson of Elizabeth City, NC. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, past president of the Elizabeth City Girls Club and a former member of the Albemarle Hospital Auxiliary. She was an avid golfer. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Patricia Birch Robinson of Atlanta, GA; a son, Charles Hall Robinson, Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Raleigh, NC; two grandchildren, Patricia Michele Robinson and Charles Andrew Robinson both of Raleigh, NC. A Service of Remembrance will be conducted Tuesday, January 25, 2005, at 2:00pm in Christ Episcopal Church by Rev. Fredricka Steenstra. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 200 S. McMorrine St., Elizabeth City, NC 27909. The family will greet friends and relatives at the church immediately following the memorial service and at other times at their residence, 1830 Rivershore Rd., Elizabeth City, NC.
