Obituary of Anges P. Maceda

VIENNA, VA/AVON, NC ANGES PEARL MACEDA, 81, of Vienna, VA and formerly of Avon, NC died Saturday, January 22, 2005 in Fairfax, VA. Mrs. Maceda was born in Avon, NC and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Celestial and Sudie Grey Scarborough and the widow of the late John Thomas Joseph Maceda. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Alma Gray and a brother, Ralph Scarborough. Mrs. Maceda is survived by two daughters, Deborah Joan Maceda of Fairfax, VA and Judith Ann Maceda of Vienna, VA; two sons, Charles Michael Maceda of Ashland, VA, and John Joseph Maceda of Manassas, VA; a sister, Lillian Nardoci of Greensboro, NC; two brothers, Orville Scarborough and Maxton Scarborough, both of Avon, NC; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St. Johns United Methodist Church on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Susie Fitch-Slater officiating. Burial will be in the Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the residence of Virginia Scarborough, 40136 Harbor Road, Avon. Twiford Island Chapel, Hatteras is assisting the family with arrangements.
