Obituary of Anne Tomlinson

ELIZABETH CITY, NC Tomlinson Anne Britts Tomlinson, 72, of 1113 West Williams Circle, Elizabeth City, NC, died Sunday at her home. Mrs. Tomlinson was born in Suffolk County, Long Island, NY, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Hannah Nyholm Britts. She was a dedicated servant of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, a former employee of the East Carolina Bank in Engelhard, NC, and a former member of the Hyde County Rescue Squad. Survivors include two daughters; Susan K. Tomlinson of Elizabeth City, NC and Denise T. Radford of Pahrump, Nevada, four sons, Maurice S. Tomlinson, II of Okeechobee, Florida, Glenn R. Tomlinson of Lumberton, NC, Jonathan C. Tomlinson of Aydlett, NC and Craig E. Tomlinson of Clayton, NC, and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice Selby Tomlinson. A memorial service will be Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at 1:00 P. M. at the Twiford Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC with Stewart Nixon officiating. The family will join friends following the memorial service in the funeral home lobby.
