Obituary of Estelle Gray

GRAY AVON, NC ESTELLE SCARBOROUGH GRAY, 74, of Avon, died, Sunday, January 30, 2005, in Norfolk, Va. Mrs. Gray was born in Avon and was a homemaker and a member of Saint John’s United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Blucher and Beulah Gray Scarborough and the wife of Norman Gray of the home. Besides her husband surviving are her daughter: Dawn Gray Wetzel and husband Bruce of Virginia Beach, Virginia, her son: Norman Gray, Jr of Avon, sister: Meleitta S. Austin of Portsmouth, Va and nephews Phillip and Donald Austin, Jr and niece Joni Tallman, brother: Blucher Scarborough of Virginia Beach, Virginia and wife Bertie and nephew and niece: B.R. Scarborough and Lana. A service of remembrance will be held Thursday, February 3, 2005, in Saint John’s United Methodist Church, at 2:00 p.m. by the Rev. Susie Fitch-Slater.
