Obituary of Louis Harrell

EC Harrell Louis Norman Harrell, Sr. Native of Perquimans County Mr. Louis Norman Harrell, Sr., age 88, of 125 Park Drive, Shiloh, NC, died Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Harrell, a native of Perquimans County, NC, was the son of the late Jim Harrell and Delia Benton Harrell and the husband of Leah Whedbee Harrell of the residence. He was a retired salesman at Central Fertilizer Company and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jackie West of Gloucester, VA, and Annette Old of Charlotte, NC; a son, Louis N. Harrell, Jr., of San Diego, CA; a sister, Novella Cayton of Duneden, FL; two brothers, Rufus Harrell of Saluda, VA and James Lawrence Harrell of Chesapeake, VA; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC, Saturday, February 5, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. David Combs officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and at other times at the residence.
