Obituary of Linda Sherrick

Linda C. Sherrick Virginia Beach ‘ Linda Carroll Walker Sherrick, 61, loving Mother and Grandmother, died Thursday, February 3, 2005, at Beacon Brook Health Center, CT, after a long illness. Mrs. Sherrick was born on June 22, 1943, in Norfolk, VA, a daughter of the late Albert and Lillie (Absalom) Walker. She is survived by two sons; Allen Sherrick of Wisconsin, Joey Moore of Virginia; two daughters; Holly Sherrick of Connecticut, and Linda McGovern of Virginia Beach; one brother Albert Walker of Virginia Beach; two sisters; Joan Denson of Virginia Beach and Shirley Waff of North Carolina; six Grandchildren, her former husband George Sherrick of Virginia Beach, and many other loving friends and family. Funeral services will be held at Twiford’s Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake on Tuesday at 12:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 7:00 until 8:30 pm.
