Obituary of Anita Gibbs

EC Gibbs Anita B. Spellman Gibbs Native of Elizabeth City, NC Mrs. Anita B. Spellman Gibbs of Elizabeth City, NC, and formerly a resident of New York City, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, February 12, 2005 with family and friends by her side. Mrs. Gibbs was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Jerard C. Gibbs, and her son, Guy Gibbs, whom she dearly loved. She is survived by two sisters, one brother, and other relatives and friends. A memorial visitation for Mrs. Gibbs will be Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 4:00 P.M. at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charitable organization of your choice.
