Obituary of Venona Hoffler

EC Hoffler Venona M. Long Cafferello Hoffler Resident of Elizabeth City, NC Venona M. Long Cafferello Hoffler, 71, of 17 Timmerman Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, died Thursday, February 17, 2005 at Albemarle Hospital. She was born in Pasquotank County, daughter of the late Clarence and Patsy Meads Long, and was the widow of Julian Morgan Hoffler and Michael Louis Cafferello. She was a life member and past president of the William Clarence Jackson, V.F.W. Post 6060 Ladies Auxiliary, where she was a Gold Star Wife, and member of Riverside Baptist Church. She was a woman of sharp wit who was always full of life. Mrs. Hoffler is survived by six sons, Julian Morgan Hoffler, Jr. of Lakeland, FL, Michael Wayne Hoffler of Virginia Beach, VA, Michael Anthony Cafferello of New Bern, NC, Joseph Louis Cafferello of Kaneohe, HI, John Randall Cafferello of Elizabeth City, NC, and Mark Patrick Cafferello of Greenville, NC; two daughters, Teresa C. White of Lynchburg, VA, and Patricia Margaret Cafferello of Kill Devil Hills, NC; a sister Annette Mueller of Elizabeth City, NC; a nephew, Steve Mueller; fifteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 21, 2005 at 11:00 am in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. F. Joe Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 pm at the funeral home and at other times at the residence of the son, John Cafferello, 2511 Dan & Mary Street, Elizabeth City, NC.
