Obituary of Ellen Snow

Ellen Cartwright Snow, 93, 8003 Caratoke Highway, Powells Point, NC died Friday, February 25, 2005, in the Albemarle Hospital. She was born in Weeksville, NC to the late Henry Martin and Berlie Byrd Cartwright and was the widow of the late Julian Dexter Snow. Mrs. Snow was a member of the Powells Point Christian Church. She is survived by one daughter, Faye Shaver of Birmingham, AL; a brother Shelton Cartwright of Boykins, VA; four grandchildren, Michelle Sabre, Jennifer Shaver, Paul Adams, and Charles Cook, IV and three great grandchildren, Alexander Sabre, Brandon Sabre and Ethan Sabre. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at 11:00 in the Powells Point Christian Church by Pastor David Coxson. Burial will follow in the Powells Point Christian Church Cemetery.
