Obituary of Lori “Missy” Meads

EC Meads Lori ‘Missy’ Meads Resident of Pasquotank County, NC Lori ‘Missy’ Meads, 37, of 1841 Nixonton Road, Elizabeth City, NC, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at her residence. She was born in Fayetteville, NC; wife of Ted Meads of the home, and the daughter of Howard Simons and Judy Wofford Simons. She was a loving wife and wonderful mother, daughter, daughter in law, sister, and sister in law. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She volunteered with the school system and was a special friend to many students and mother to many ball players whose lives she touched. She previously worked in many capacities with the medical field. She will be greatly missed by everyone. Besides her husband and parents, Missy is survived by a son, Kyle Meads; and a brother, Steve Simons; mother and father in law, seven sisters in law; five brothers in law; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 2:00 pm in Fountain of Life Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Bill Mayo and Rev. Clay Manos officiating. Burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 and at other times at the residence.
