Obituary of Patricia Wheaton

Patricia Ann Wheaton, 71, died March 1, 2005, at her residence with her family at her side. Mrs. Wheaton was born in Brazil, Ind., and was a member of Knotts Island Ruritan Club. Survivors include her loving husband of seven years, Dexter Stuart Wheaton; two daughters, Susan Croteau and husband Louis of Virginia Beach and Bette Bartz and husband Michael of Virginia Beach; son, Raymond Wheaton and wife Carol Ann of Chesapeake; two sons, Timothy Chaney and wife Angela and Darrin Chaney and wife Kimberly, all of Indiana; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A funeral will be held at Knotts Island Baptist Church on Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Revs. Chuck Mann and Bill Thorn officiating. Burial will follow at Knotts Island Cemetery.
