Obituary of Don Nell

Don Emery Nell, 71, of 2204 Meads Street, Forest Park, Elizabeth City, NC, died Thursday March 3, 2005, at the Albemarle Hospital. Mr. Nell was born in Huntingdon County, Petersburg, PA. and was the son of the late George and Esther Wise Nell. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, an a retired electronic engineer with Unisys Corporation at the U. S. Coast Guard Base in Elizabeth City, and member of Eureka Masonic Lodge # 317 A. F. & A. M. Survivors include his wife; Audrey Stephens Nell, two daughters Kathleen N. Saienni and her husband Rocco of Wanchese, NC and Donna N. Lowry and her husband Robert of Elizabeth City, NC, two sisters Beverly N. Scott of Mountain View, Ark. And Natalie N. Guy of Orlando, FL. six grandchildren Tasha Kelly, Rocco David Saienni, Ashley Kroetsch, Robert Henry Lowry, Caroline Lowry and Kathleen Lowry, one great-grandson Sean Kelly. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 A. M. Saturday March 5, 2005, at the West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum with Rev. William C. Holmes officiating. Masonic rites will be rendered by the Eureka Masonic Lodge # 317 A. F. & A. M. The family will join friends Friday evening from 7:00 P. M. to 8:30 P. M. at Twiford Funeral Home, Northside Chapel, 1115 North Road Street, Elizabeth City, NC and other times at the residence.
