Obituary of Scott Edward Streater

SOUTHERN SHORES, NC SCOTT EDWARD STREATER, 63, of Southern Shores, NC died Saturday, March 5, 2005 in a Nags Head hospital. Mr. Streater, born in St. Paul, MN, was a self-employed Vocational Consultant and was a veteran, having served in the U. S. Navy. He served as treasurer of the Southern Shores Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the American Board of Vocational Experts. He was the son of the late Edward Ruthven and Jean Snyder Streater. Mr. Streater is survived by two sons, Mark Edward Streater and wife, Erica and William Louis Ruthven Streater, all of Winona MN; his former wife, Ruth Elaine Streater of Winona, MN; and his fianc, Judy Merrell Brickhouse of Southern Shores, NC. A memorial service will be held at the Southern Shores Volunteer Fire Department on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 6:00 pm. The family will receive friends at Twifords Funeral Home, Manteo on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 pm and at other times at the residence at 14 Skyline Road, Southern Shores. Twifordé''s Colony Chapel, Manteo is assisting the family with arrangements.
