Obituary of Ronald “Capt.Buck” Pieper

MANTEO, NC RONALD ‘CAPTAIN BUCK’ PIEPER, 63, of Manteo, NC died Thursday, March 10, 2005, in a Chesapeake, Va. hospital. Mr. Pieper, born in Wilmington, Delaware, was a Charter Boat Captain and owner and operator of Captain Buck Charters. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was the son of the late Charles William and Charlotte Leola Steptoe Pieper. Mr. Pieper is survived by his fiance, Barbara J. Barnett of Manteo, NC; a daughter, Rhonda Pieper of New Hampshire, and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, POB 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216. Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo is assisting the family with arrangements.
