Obituary of Lucy Catlin

Lucy Ferentino Catlin, 87, of 105 Howard Street, Camden, NC, died Monday March 14, 2005, at the Guardian Care Nursing Home in Elizabeth City, NC. Mrs. Catlin was born in West Moreland County, Jeannette, PA, and was the daughter of the late Nicholas Ferentino and Mary Danieal Ferentino. Mrs. Catlin was a retired cook with the Brasie Corners Grade School in Macomb, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband Nelson Jay Catlin on July 28, 2001. Survivors include one daughter; Marietta C. Phalen and her husband Edward of Camden, NC, one son Nelson Catlin, Jr. and his wife Cindy of Elizabeth City, NC, two sisters Frances Pierce of Key West, FL and Rose Pochatko of Hope Mills, NC, four grandchildren Lisa Phalen, Edward Phalen, Jr., Sheila Phalen and Kenneth Catlin, ten great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 17, 2005, at 4:00 P. M. at the Twiford Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with Mike Duffer officiating.
