Obituary of Herbert Naprstek

Herbert C. Naprstek, Jr. Chesapeake ‘ Herbert Charles Naprstek, Jr., 59 died Saturday, March 12, 2005. Mr. Naprstek was born in Norfolk to the late Herbert Charles and Pauline Finch Naprstek. He retired as Commander from the U.S. Navy. Mr. Naprstek loved the beach and fishing. He was a member of the Kempsville Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Jon Naprstek. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Judith Blankenship Naprstek; daughter, Christina Richardson and husband, Eric of Suffolk; son Benjamin R. Naprstek and wife, Rosa of Wake Forest, NC; sister, Paula Reid of Russellville, AR; and three grandchildren, Olivia, Jacob and Victoria. Graveside services with Masonic Rites and full Military Honors will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk with Pastor Charles Beamon officiating. Following services, the family will receive friends at the residence of Nancy Jones in the 3900 block of Plum Ln,, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made the Juvenile Diabetes Association, 120 Wall St. 19th Floor, NY, NY 10005 or the Shriner’s Crippled Childrens Hospital, 950 W.
