Obituary of Russell Hubbard

Russell N. Hubbard Resident of Grandy, NC Russell Norman Hubbard, 79, of 117 Dowdy’s Bay Road, Grandy, NC, died Friday, March 18, 2005 at Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Norfolk, VA, son of the late Henry and Meredith Outlaw Hubbard and the widower of Dorothy Evans Hubbard. Mr. Hubbard is survived by three daughters, Sylvia Norris and husband Warren of Greenville, NC, Alisa Vaughan and husband Tommy of Newport News, VA, and Robin Roderer and husband Robert of Nags Head, NC; a sister, Thelma O’Neal of Poplar Branch, NC; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 21, 2005 at 2:00 pm in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill Thorn officiating. Following the service the family will receive friends in the lobby of the funeral home.
