EC Nichols Genevieve Copeland Nichols Native of Overton, TN Mrs. Genevieve Copeland Nichols, age 87, of 803 Cedar Street, Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, April 3, 2005, at the Albemarle Hospital. Mrs. Nichols, a native of Overton, TN, was the daughter of the late Herbert Copeland and Ola McDonald Copeland and the widow of Alfred W. Nichols. She was a retired public school teacher. She is survived by a daughter Carol Nichols Ellis of Elizabeth City, NC. A graveside funeral service will be Monday, April 11, 2005, at 1:00 PM at Green Hill Cemetery, Alpine, TN. The family will receive friends at Hooper Huddleston Funeral Home, Cookeville, TN, Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
