Obituary of Nellie Gray

EC GRAY Nellie A. Gray Avon, NC Nellie A. Gray, age 75, of 40115 Harbor Road, Avon, NC, died Wednesday, April 6, 2005, in Albemarle Hospital. She was a native of Salvo, NC, daughter of the late Richard Warren Gray and Kittie Estelle O’Neal Gray, and was wife of the late Pritchard Joseph Gray, Jr. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. Mrs. Gray is survived by one daughter, Maxine Gray of Avon, NC; two brothers, Tommy Gray and wife Lucille of CT, and Manning Gray and wife Ruby of Manteo, NC; one grandson, David Gray of Avon, NC; two great grandsons, Trevor Gray of Avon, NC, and Matthew Talbot of Virginia Beach, VA; and a sister-in-law, Ena Gregory and husband Horace of Elizabeth City, NC. A funeral service will be Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 2:00 PM in St. Johns United Methodist Church with the Rev. Susie Slater officiating. Burial will follow in the Scarborough Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the church and at other times at the residence, 40115 Harbor Road, Avon, NC.
