Obituary of Hazel Foltz

Hazel Bell Foltz, 82, of 158 Lucinda Lane, Harbinger, NC died Friday, April 8, 2005, in the Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City, NC. Mrs. Foltz was a former resident of Southern Shores, NC. She was born in Dunn, NC to the late W. C. and Junietta Owens Bell. Mrs. Foltz attended the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church at Kitty Hawk, NC and St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Portsmouth, VA. and was a volunteer for Hotline in Manteo, NC. She is survived by her husband, John H. Foltz of Harbinger, NC; a son, James E. Parnham and wife, Kiriaki of Las Cruces, NM; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Parnham Bothwell of Chesapeake, VA; three sisters, Hilda Brush of Norfolk, VA, Mary Ireland of Portsmouth, VA, and Marguerite Southerland of St. Mathews, SC. Also, she is survived by five grandchildren, Christine Parnham, Catherine Hallford both of McKinney, TX, Alikie Counihan of Tempe, AZ, Andrea Parnham of Craddock, VA and Heather Atlee of Lynchburg, VA; eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Parnham and a sister, Elsie Hoggard. Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at 2:00pm in the Resurrection Catholic Church, Cedar Lane, Portsmouth, VA by Father James Carr. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Portsmouth, VA. The family suggests that memorial gifts may be made to Hotline, Manteo, NC 27954.
