Obituary of Gloria Jean Jennings

Gloria Jean Loyed Barkley Jennings, 60, 6608 Fordwick Drive, Norfolk, VA, died Thursday, April 7, 2005 at her residence. She was born in Hampton, VA: daughter of the late Milton Cooper and Ruth Davis Loyed. Mrs. Jennings is survived by two sisters, Janice Spaulding of Elizabeth City, NC, and Janet Carmines of Mesa, AZ; two nephews, William Spaulding and wife Donna of Elizabeth City, NC, and Andrew Spaulding and wife Angela of Elizabeth City, NC; two great nephews, Ryan Stovall and Lee Warga both of Mansfield, OH; two aunts, Lorraine Sharber and family and Leila Meads and family; a uncle, Leland Davis and family; and Sweet Pea, Midnight, Smokey, and Willie. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 11, 2005 at 2:00 pm in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Toni Wood officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
