Obituary of Mildred Quidley

Mildred Twiford Quidley, 75, of 5067 Caratoke Highway, Coinjock, NC died Wednesday afternoon, April 13, 2005, at 2:00pm at her residence. She was born in Coinjock, NC to the late Louis and Emma Forbes Twiford and was the widow of the late Leonard D. ‘Bud’ Quidley. Mrs. Quidley was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church, Currituck Wildlife Preservation, Currituck Historical Society, Red Hats Association, and a Currituck master gardener. She is survived by two daughters; Betty Q. Beasley of Coinjock and Karen Q. Pierce and husband, Mack of Coinjock. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2005, at 11:00am in the Forbes Family Cemetery, Bertha, NC by Rev. Steve Castle. The family suggests memorial gift be made to either Sharon United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 182, Poplar Branch, NC 27965 or to the Currituck County Humane Society, 200 Airport Rd, Maple, NC 27956.
