Obituary of Irving Sharber

IRVING JEROME SHARBER Native of Pasquotank County, NC Irving Jerome Sharber, 92, of 1197 Campground Road, Elizabeth City, NC died Thursday, April 14, 2005, in the Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Pasquotank County to the late John Gehu and Maria Mullen Sharber and was the widower of the late Sallie Bogue Sharber, whom he was married to for 68 years. Mr. Sharber was a retired farmer and a member of the Newland United Methodist Church. He is survived by one daughter, Pat S. Williams and husband, Gaston of Camden, NC; one son, Charles B. Sharber and wife, Ramona, of Elizabeth City, NC; one sister, Eva Roughton of Pollocksville, NC; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two infant sons. A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, April 17, 2005, at 2:00pm in the Whitney Cemetery, Newland Section of Pasquotank County, by Rev. Toni Wood and Rev. Glenn Greenway.
