Obituary of Lance M. Hayes

WANCHESE, NC LANCE MARLIN HAYES, 45, of Wanchese, NC died Monday, April 18, 2005 in Hampton, VA. Mr. Hayes was born in Okinawa, Japan and was a commercial fisherman. He was the son of Elton Terrence Hayes, Sr. of Gainesville, FL and Marion Gaimel Daniels of Manteo, NC. Besides his parents, Mr. Hayes is survived by his wife, Barbara Daniels Hayes of the residence; a daughter, Misty Rose Hayes of Wanchese, NC; a son, Justin Blaze Hayes of Wanchese, NC; a sister, Jeri ‘Fuzzy’ Hayes Hollis of Wanchese, NC; a brother Harley Davidson Hayes of Wanchese, NC. He was preceded in death by a brother, Elton Terrence Hayes, Jr. Funeral services will be held at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo on Friday, April 22, 2005 at 7:00 pm with Rev. David Dalton officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family at P.O. Box 405, Wanchese, NC 27981. Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo is assisting the family with arrangements.
