Obituary of William “Herby” Dorsett

William H. Dorsett, Jr. Chesapeake ‘ William Herbert ‘Herby’ Dorsett, Jr., 53, passed away on April 19. Herby was born on September 6, 1951 in Norfolk. A lifelong resident of Chesapeake, he is predeceased by his father, Herbert Dorsett, Sr. Survivors include son, Herby Dorsett, III; Debbie Dorsett; mother, Jacqueline Clark Dorsett; sisters, Annie Roche of Chesapeake and Denise Gaskins of Avon, NC; and grandson, William Dorsett IV. Memorial services will be held at Twiford’s Colonial Chapel in Chesapeake on Thursday at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Food Pantry at Deep Creek United Methodist Church.
